Janie Gibson, M.S.Ed., LPC is a licensed counselor with over 20 years experience working with individuals to address various mental health needs. She takes a collaborative approach, working with clients to help them develop a “tool box” to address obstacles related to depression, anxiety, marital and family issues, and adjustment to any changes life may throw their way.  
 

Janie has recently added life coaching services to her repertoire. Her foundational skills as a therapist, plus additional training as a life coach put her in a unique position to help clients develop their vision for the future, set and achieve goals, improve their mindset, and increase overall life satisfaction.  
 

Some clients find a greater level of understanding when working with a counselor who shares their faith. Janie is a Catholic, and offers a safe place for clients to situate treatment within the context of their spiritual life in a non-judgmental setting. A special area of interest is working with adult women facing periods of transition, such as moving from school into the workforce, and navigating changes in interpersonal relationships, career, or family responsibilities.
